Team & Organizational Assessments

Without awareness of current reality, a team or organization will find it difficult to make sound choices of action as well as gain buy-in for creating something new. At Exelli, we work with you to find what assessment will suit best to help the system become self-aware. To affect systemic transformation, we leadership, change agents and facilitators alike need to actively ’Listen to your system’. We typically engage with the leaders in small groups to interpret what the results mean, as well as create meaningful action steps to address the underlying needs being exposed.

Some of the favorite assessments or approaches include;

  • Culture Assessments, such as Barrett Value Centre: Barrett offers a suite of tools for full organizational cultural assessments to individual contributor level. Barrett's seminal work in building out Maslow’s hierarchy of needs model into the 7 levels of consciousness model is second to none. Any organization serious about culture transformation should be aware of the possibilities that open up when deploying Barrett Culture Surveys. Not only does the tool provide visual and intuitive insights as to the current and desired culture of your organization; furthermore the tool lays out language and principles that serves your organizational intentional growth journey for years to come

“A system is never the sum of its parts, its the product of their interaction.”

— Rusell Ackoff

  • Performance Environment assessments, such as Gallup Q12 survey:  A leadership is responsible to create an environment where people can perform and be their best, today, tomorrow and long term.  Doing a performance environment survey gives invaluable insights both on organizational level as well as actionable input for each leader to address the needs in their teams directly.

  • Team assessments, such as Harrison Assessment’s Team Paradox:  We often use such assessment tools to help identify and grow team strengths and address imbalances that could be blinds spots to address for the team.

  • Qualitative interviewing - Listening to your system:  An simple and practical approach is to host focus groups and interviews directly with team members.  In designing such approaches intimacy, awareness and buy-in is often created in the organization early on in the progress and facilitators, change agents and employees start the journey of co-creating a solution from the very beginning.

Individual Assessments

Interventions for individuals are greatly aided using individual assessment tools. The awareness created accelerates the self-awareness necessary for us to make impactful choice of action to elevate our way of being, thinking and doing. Today a huge range of tools are available for different use cases. Sometimes the most commonly used tools, are not necessarily an optimal choice for your intervention. Exelli has invested significant time in understanding benefits and suitable use cases for various tools.
